As of today, experienced communications expert Dr. Anahid Rickmann is taking over responsibility for corporate communications at the integrated midstream energy company SEFE Securing Energy for Europe as Senior Vice President.

"We are transforming SEFE to secure the energy supply and shape the energy transition. Anahid Rickmann is a great addition to our management team for repositioning SEFE and realigning corporate communications. She has already successfully restructured communications departments on several occasions and has extensive experience in the area of sustainability, which is of central importance to us," says SEFE CEO Dr. Egbert Laege, welcoming the new Global Head of Corporate Communications.

Most recently, Anahid refocused the Global Communications department of the elevator company TK Elevator in terms of content and personnel, thus ensuring consistent internal and external communications at all locations worldwide.

Before that, as Head of Corporate Communications and Responsibility, the political science graduate managed global communications and sustainability at the Swiss-based, stock-listed automotive supplier Autoneum. She gained experience in the energy sector as a media spokesperson for the Swiss energy company Axpo.

Anahid commented on the new role: "I am very much looking forward to advancing and implementing SEFE's green transformation with a committed team. SEFE is already making a major contribution to the energy transformation and plays a key role in ensuring security of supply in Germany and Europe. We will focus our communications on sharing our ambitious strategy to drive forward these key priorities."

Anahid studied Political Science at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn, where she also completed her doctorate. From 2003 to 2008, she was spokesperson for the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) in Frankfurt am Main.
